Apple has announced the winner of the 2021 App Store Awards and League of Legends: Wild Rift has won iPhone Game of the Year, a major achievement for a game as new as it. You can read the full list of the 2021 App Store Awards at the end of the article.

The App Store Awards was held today and Apple’s global App Store editorial team picked the winners “for delivering exceptional quality, innovative technology, creative design, and positive cultural impact.”

Official Gameplay Trailer | League of Legends: Wild Rift

League of Legends: Wild Rift, a free-to-play arena game made by Riot Games, won the iPhone Game of the Year. Marvel Future Revolution received the iPad Game of the Year award, and Fantasian won the Apple Arcade Game of the Year.

The most popular free game in App Store was Among Us with the highest download rate among other games and Apple announced Minecraft was the most popular paid game in App Store. But the Arcade award-winner Fantasian didn’t appear in the list of most popular games.
