The release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is just around the corner, and it looks like a new trailer and TV advert have been leaked on Reddit. The TV spot includes never-before-seen footage of a boss and an area, which have set fans speculating about what the game could contain.
The leaked commercial shows Tears of the Kingdom being played in various settings, interspersed with gameplay footage. The footage includes several new clips we haven’t seen before, such as Link walking across thin, broken beams from sky island to sky island and using “ascend” to sneak up on some enemies. It looks like some mechanics will be a lot more open-ended than initially believed.

The most exciting part of the trailer, however, comes later when we get confirmation that a three-headed dragon appearing in the official trailer is, in fact, Gleeok, a boss from the original Zelda game. Interestingly, this version of Gleeok is a Flame Gleeok, hinting that there could be other types in the game. Link is fighting Gleeok on the Bridge of Hylia, indicating that Tears of the Kingdom may have a Skyrim-like aspect where dragons can appear and engage in fights with the player.

The trailer also reveals a new area, which is shown at the end when a father is playing the game with his daughter. Link is seen in a dark area, and when he shoots a specific plant on the side of a tree, it illuminates a cool, dark forest area. The area is covered in plants and mushrooms and features a giant glowing gold pod of some sort encased in a tree.
Although it’s possible that this trailer may be taken down by Nintendo soon, it’s equally likely that it will start airing on television instead. The mushroom area and the Gleeok fight alone have significant implications for what Tears of the Kingdom could include. And this only makes fans even more excited for the game’s release.
