One of the best aspects of Steam is that now and then an indie title comes out of nowhere that everyone starts to play and talk about. This year’s case is the sci-fi horror game called Lethal Company and we’ve also covered a ton of guides for fans to check out. And now Lethal Company has managed to outsell the latest Call of Duty entry on Steam as well.

Lethal Company is currently available in Early Access on Steam for fans to play, which means there is still content to be added, as well as some issues that will need to be fixed. But it seems that hasn’t been an obstacle for players to not buy and have fun with the game. At the moment Lethal Company is behind Steam Deck and has already outsold Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Counter-Strike 2 while being priced at only $10. It’s important to also understand that best-selling games on Steam are ordered by most revenue, not copies.

Lethal Company proves that for a game to become popular, providing a fun time for players is absolutely essential. Even though it doesn’t boast the most realistic graphics in the world, its innovative gameplay mechanics make up for its lo-fi visuals. In the game, players can play with up to four players where they have to search abandoned moons for loot and try to survive.

While it may seem like any other survival multiplayer game, Lethal Company has managed to mix the right ingredients of popular games, add its unique style and gameplay mechanics, and deliver something truly fun and unique. Also, it’s worth noting that this game was only made by one person who goes by the name of Zeekerss.
