The wedding took place on Jan. 26, 2024, on her farm in Nashville. A move that shocked many, but it just seemed right. Lambert announced her marriage on Instagram a few weeks later in honor of Valentine’s Day. Everything sounds like a perfect fairytale romance at this point, right?

Miranda Lambert had been married before, and she wanted her second marriage to be different. Specifically, to be more private and kept out of the limelight. “I was married before, and it was a huge wedding, and everything was very public. So was my divorce,” she later told People of why she chose to keep her wedding a secret. “I learned then that it’s not for everybody else. This is my actual life. With Brendan, I made it a point to keep it as private as I could for as long as I could.”
Of course, being the megastar that she is, it wasn’t long before details of her relationship were discussed in the media. Lambert also became more open to discussing the man who held her heart.
There have been heartwarming moments shared on social media and expressions of gratitude and love in interviews. However, she and McLoughlin would also face unwanted scrutiny.
The Rumor Mills Start Turning
Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin have faced several allegations and have been subjected to multiple rumors. This includes the report that he was engaged to another woman not long before he got married to Lambert, People reports. It was claimed that McLoughlin and his ex broke up because another woman, Kaihla Rettinger, was pregnant with his baby.
Rettinger is reported to have texted McLoughlin’s former fiancee, informing her of the pregnancy.

This was perhaps the first time fans were disenchanted by the romance. But none of the reports about McLoughlin were as damning as the scandal that occurred in early June, 2024.

Brendan McLoughlin made headlines for dancing with another woman at his wife’s Nashville bar, Casa Rosa. Video footage emerged showing him interacting with this unnamed woman. This rubbed fans the wrong way, and many expressed their disappointment on social media.
There is no denying that this event has been the catalyst for several reports about their relationship. However, it is worth noting that the woman who allegedly appears in the video has denied that anything inappropriate happened between her and McLoughlin.
“There was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking,” she said in an interview with InTouch Weekly. Still, it has not eased the minds of Lambert’s fans.
Miranda Lambert Is Allegedly Stressed
At the end of July, there were reports about how Miranda Lambert was feeling following the footage of her husband at her bar, with a source telling InTouch Weekly she was “humiliated.” They added, “Miranda gave Brendan a piece of her mind and a warning he’d better mind his behavior or else.”
There have also been claims that she is so “stressed” about her marriage that it is impacting her behavior and resulting in her having a quick temper. “Miranda’s stressed over her marriage and clearly taking it out on her fans,” an insider claimed. “She’s constantly worried about what Brendan’s up to when her back is turned. So any little thing will trigger her temper.”
While this is all speculation, and neither Lambert nor McLoughlin has made a statement about their relationship, there is no denying that it must be incredibly difficult to recently become the subjects of increased rumors and speculation.
