Allen told listeners that she signed up for the treatment for a few weeks. The singer noted important details from her stay, stating, “I did a lot of group therapy and some individual therapy, and I just, I needed some time and space away from everything.” The star reportedly did extensive shadow work on her “inner child stuff” during treatment.
She acknowledged that while it was challenging, she now sees healing as a “lifelong journey.” Allen also clarified that her children partly influenced her decision to get help. On the rumor that she hates her children, Allen debunked it and insisted she got better for them. Her big decision also meant leaving her girls for a few weeks.
However, Allen decided it was for the best, and she needed help to help her be a better mother. The singer added that it was a duty to make her daughters “feel safe and secure.” Since seeking help, Allen has noticed significant changes to help her show up better and stronger. She was reportedly at the facility when the L.A. fires broke out on January 7.
Allen has previously shared that she and her daughters are each other’s support systems during bad days. The singer and her ex-husband tied the knot in Las Vegas. Allen and the Stranger Things actor initially met on celebrity dating app Raya.

Harbour seemingly ended their union shortly before they entered the new year. Harbour’s profile on the app is reportedly a cartoon silhouette of him smoking. He described himself as an actor living in Atlanta but originally from New York. His bio on the app read, “Closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV.”
