Livestreamers really do love attention, sometimes so much that they even dare to break laws. A livestreamer known as Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is quite an infamous figure online. He shot up to popularity due to his Looksmaxxing content, where he talked about ways to make men more attractive. However, recently, he got into big trouble after allegedly using a false ID to enter a liquor store despite being under the age of 21. In the video showing his arrest, you could see the Arizona livestreamer being held by a police officer at the side of the road.
Despite being in handcuffs, the livestreamer looked shockingly calm and collected. The officer then pulled him into the police car, but not before patting him down to ensure that he wasn’t holding any weapons or other items that might help him escape.
That was the end of the video, but more information about the livestreamer’s situation could be gathered by looking at court documents. The Arizona livestreamer is currently facing three alleged charges. Two of them are felonies, which include possession of a forged instrument and drug possession, while the last charge is a misdemeanor for using a false ID to enter a bar.
The livestreamer already had his first hearing on Sunday, February 8, where his attorney tried to argue his case by saying that he had never intended to lie to anyone with the forged ID. The judge disagreed, and currently the Arizona livestreamer has a status conference scheduled for February 23 and another hearing on February 26.
Internet users were more amused than alarmed when hearing what happened to Clavicular. Many deemed that his arrest was justified since the man was clearly intentionally breaking the law. “He’s felonymaxxing now, I guess,” one user wrote. Others remarked that the Arizona streamer really hadn’t thought things through by attempting to use a fake ID at Scottsdale bars. “Welcome to Scottsdale. Such an idiot for even trying. Bars here literally love taking IDs, and there are cops usually on every corner,” one Redditor wrote.
Others wondered how the Arizona livestreamer would fare if he did go to jail for this crime, as Clavicular has been quite open about his use of drugs. “He openly does Adderall on stream, as well as pregabalin. Either of those. Could also be cocaine or meth, but that would be speculation. Either way, he’s not smart for carrying drugs himself when he has his group following him around,” one commenter said.
