Despite the outcry from citizens over the Trump administration, a MAGA supporter in Escondido, California, is showing his support for the president like never before! The boomer performed the Nazi salute and even went as far as decorating his house with hate signs directed at immigrants.
A passerby captured the man outside his home and shared it on Reddit. In the photo, the elderly man donned an American flag-designed sweater and posed with one hand raised to the sky while the other carried the U.S. flag.
While his pose was eye-raising, his background was also questionable. The barbed fence of the house was decorated with several U.S flags arranged side by side, and accompanied by posters condemning illegals and promoting the strict immigration policies.
Some of the signboards spotted included statements that read, “Illegals are paid to invade America,” “Open border welcomes death and destruction,” and “Evil is preying on God’s own children.” Another banner read, “We weren’t political until they attacked our God, our own children and Freedom.”
One other poster visible in the picture targeted the former president with a message, “Biden is a dirty rat,” written boldly on it. A close look at the photo revealed that the elderly man was not the only MAGA supporter outside of the house. An elderly woman was seen at the corner of the building carrying a sign that looked like a photo of Trump.
In the accompanying caption to the post, the passerby described the scene. The caption read, “My dad drives down Mission for his commute every day, and apparently, the assumed homeowner has been out there for 3 days, practicing his ‘Roman salute.’ Absolute madness in that house.”
The MAGA supporter’s allegiance did not go unnoticed online and earned him criticism from several social media users. One social media enthusiast mocked that the man would soon be affected by the administration. “Wait till his Social Security and Medicare are cut,” mocked the user.
A second netizen bashed the boomer, calling out his hypocrisy for wanting the protection of children while simultaneously advocating for harsh immigration policies. The netizen wrote, “ ‘PROTECT THE KIDS’ cheers on ICE agents in schools.” Another Redditor asked, “Is that the Trump Derangement Syndrome people talk about?”
A third critic added, “MAGA types keep insisting they’re not with the Nazis, but the Nazis all seem to think they are.” Another netizen claimed that the boomer has always been a MAGA activist, and “doubts that anything can be done about it.“
