I have to say, I love being able to open TikTok at any given time and find out breaking news about someone who I will never meet in my entire life. There’s just something so interesting about feeling connected to a world of people who all share the art of storytelling with one another. When I opened up the app today, I discovered that one of my favorite accounts from California was permanently banned from Dodger Stadium, and I had to immediately check out what was going on.
The video by DJ Lost One discusses how TikToker Noe Murillo was permanently banned from the stadium after posting a video of himself doing something strictly prohibited by the venue. In the video being referred to, Murillo takes himself on a solo date to the stadium, where he films himself eating food he has purchased there. In the middle of the video, it cuts to him pouring a flask of what can be assumed to be alcohol into a cup. After that point, the rest of the video is just a vlog detailing his solo date to the stadium. The video itself has 11.9 million views and has been pinned to his profile so everyone who visits can see it.
Popular for his videos about being a California bus driver who takes himself on solo dates, Noe Murillo’s content typically features him going out to various restaurants and events, documenting the food he eats and the people he meets. Typically, his content is well-received, and he’s earned a little over one million followers for his efforts.
Unfortunately, there is a strict rule about bringing outside food into the Dodger Stadium, and worst of all, an even stricter rule about it being alcohol. While it’s true that his actions could have been a liability to the stadium, I also believe that it doesn’t warrant a permanent ban. Other commenters agree, with the top comment saying, “lol NOE MURILLO reposting this lol he’s seriously seems like a genuinely guy.“
Fortunately, we don’t need to worry too much because shortly after DJ Lost One posted his plea to have Murillo unbanned, Murillo himself commented. He says, “Lol they told me it’s just for this season. I’ll be there next season u guys ⚾️💙.” I can only imagine how many views his video about when he will be allowed back at the stadium will gather when the time comes.
