Fighting raid and field bosses in Lost Ark has numerous benefits. In particular, Tarsila is a field boss who gives you the fourth Giant’s Heart. If you are looking to complete all your collections, getting Giant’s Hearts will likely be on your to-do list, too. This guide will teach you how to find and defeat Tarsila in Lost Ark.

(Updated on August 8, 2024 – Fact-checked and clarified the guide’s steps).

How to Find and Defeat Tarsila in Lost Ark

Lost Ark Tarsila Raid

In Lost Ark, Tarsila is a large spider that spawns in the Lake Eternity region of Shushire. The easiest way to access the area is by sailing or using an ocean liner to reach Shushire, then using the Nest Hill Triport before heading north to the Spider Queen’s Lair. The image above shows Tarsila’s spawn location.

Additionally, each field boss spawns at pre-determined times and dates on each server. Every field boss raid starts simultaneously, and they cycle every 2-3 days. The image below shows an example of the alarm schedule for the Tarsila field boss.

Lastly, you must have the required item level or “ilevel” to participate in the raid. For Tarsila, your item level must be at least 380, or else any contributions you make will not count toward the raid. You can check your item level by accessing your Character Profile.

Once you have met the item level requirement, head to Lake Eternity. Once the timer reaches zero, Tarsila will spawn. Since the field boss has several million health points, you’ll want to make sure other players are around to help defeat it. While you are not required to join a group, you’ll often find other players asking to join parties to fight the boss. If you do not see other players around, you can try to join a busier channel through the drop-down menu on the top-right corner of your game screen.

How you contribute to defeating Tarsila will depend on your class. For example, if you are a ranged damage dealer such as a Sorceress or Sharpshooter, you’ll want to stay in the backline. Similarly, if you are a melee or tankier class, you’ll be on the frontlines dealing close-range damage. While Tarsila is one of the easier field bosses to defeat than those you’ll encounter later in the game, she still has a mix of area-of-effect and charge attacks to avoid.
