The Token of Protection is a Tier-3 key item inย Lost Arkย used to access the new Chaos Line Dungeon. Introduced in the update that added South Vern to Arkesia, Chaos Line is a weekly Dungeon inย Lost Arkย that rewards players with a new currency known as Fragmented Bloodmagick Stones. These stones can be taken to a merchant named Professor Farhat, an Exchange that offers valuable materials and rarities. The portal entrance to Chaos Line sits right beside Farhat and requires a singleย Token of Protectionย forย Lost Arkย players to enter its perilous depths. Accordingly, fans can procure a Token of Protection through a specific weekly Roster Quest.

To get a Token of Protection inย Lost Arkย forย accessing Chaos Line, players must complete the weekly Roster Quest, “I Must Protect,” given by Magick Scholar Jeneca in the North Vern zone, Vern Castle. This quest becomes available once adventurers have completed all of the new story content available in South Vern.

Completing the main quests within South Vern should take approximately 1 to 2 hours. Afterward, speak with Magick Scholar Jeneca, the NPC who serves as theย Chaos Dungeon Shard Exchange. After accepting “I Must Protect,” speaking with the aforementioned Professor Farhat to receive two free Tokens of Protection to enter the Chaos Line Dungeon.ย

Keep in mind that Chaos Line is a weekly, Roster-bound Dungeon, which means players can only participate in the Instance once a week with a single character. Furthermore, an Item Level of 1370 is needed to clear Chaos Line, but players are advised to reach a higher gear score if possible, as the Dungeon can be challenging. To increase one’s Item Level inย Lost Ark, adventurers will need toย farm Harmony Shards.

Lost Ark is available exclusively on PC.
