How to Start the Kadan Questline In Los Ark
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the central highlights of Lost Ark’s March updates is the Kadan questline, which adds an entirely new storyline, including quests, areas, and cutscenes. The new storyline will introduce new characters as well as those whom players will have met during the base game’s main campaign. Furthermore, the quests will reveal more lore about the Sidereals and task adventurers to find Kadan, the first legendary Guardian slayer. Naturally, many Lost Ark fans, new and old, will be excited to jump into this new content as soon as possible. However, several prerequisites must be met in order to access the Kadan questline in Lost Ark.

How to Unlock the Kadan Questline in Lost Ark

Los Ark Unlock Kadan Questline

To unlock the Kadan Questline in Lost Ark, adventurers must start “The Quest for Kadan,” a purple quest given by Sebastian. This NPC can be found in the eastern corner of the Harmony Plaza in Vern Castle, near the Queen’s Castle. Yet, there are five specific requirements players should fulfill to start this quest in Lost Ark. If you are unsure of what they are, we’ll list them below.

Lost Ark fans can access “The Quest for Kadan” by finishing the following:

  • Complete Feiton, an end-game region in Arkesia
  • Complete “Let There Be Light” in Yorn
  • Complete “Start of Our Story” in the Whispering Islet
  • Complete “Illusion Bamboo Island” of the End of the Trials
  • Reach a recommended Item Level of 1,100

While the fifth statement regarding Gear Level in Lost Ark is not mandatory like the quest prerequisites, the Islands of Isteri and Illusion are considered end-game locations. Likewise, entering those areas with under-leveled gear could severely stifle one’s experience. Nonetheless, once the requirements mentioned above have been fulfilled, Lost Ark fans will be able to start the Kadan questline.
