If you haven’t heard about the latest short teaser for Netflix’s newest series, it probably means you a). haven’t made it to the end of Daredevil‘s second season and/or b). somehow managed to avoid the inundation of posts on social media. But it is there, at the end of Matt Murdock’s latest adventures – a brand new trailer for Marvel’s Luke Cage. If you’re worried about spoiling Daredevil season 2, don’t be. You can watch the clip here if you have a Netflix account.
The teaser is brief but shows off just enough of Cage’s character to interest those who may not have watched Jessica Jones yet. Cage, played by Mike Colter, stands in a room with several bad guys.  They begin to shoot at him but Cage doesn’t move, since as we know, he’s virtually indestructible. Cage makes a joke about being sick of buying new clothes, and we see a man flying through a window.  The teaser ends with a large Luke Cage logo and Nas’ “Made You Look,” simply adding to the general feeling of awe and excitement that this announcement brings.

This small scene is merely a promise of what’s to come, as Luke Cage is sure to feature both a lot of epic fights and a lot of backstory for fans of the superhero. Luke Cage is set to debut on Netflix in September of this year.
