Machine Gun Kelly has time and time again, opened up about his past drug usage. However, after his recent announcement that he had gone to rehab and gotten sober, there is still more to come. MGK opened up about his drug-filled past once again as Sean Diddy Combs’ name has been thrown in the mix. What is the past between Kelly and Diddy, and how has it affected MGK’s life?
According to Radar Online, Machine Gun Kelly recalled a time when he asked Diddy for a sleeping aid. However, that sleeping aid is what had MGK “out of his mind on drugs.” This left Kelly to form a distaste for Combs as he said, “We still bump heads.” Kelly then continued by explaining his crazy experience.

“I’d smoked something that Puff had given me. It was as if I had partied, like, three nights straight,” Baker described. “I was like, ‘I’m about to go to the airport — I need something that’ll knock me out.’ “It totally did the opposite. I was doing crazy dance moves to the weirdest music for 20 minutes straight, like, while he was on the phone. And I was just outside the window looking in while he was looking at me like, ‘Man, this kid’s nuts.’”
MGK also recalls when he and Diddy would fight over their creative thinking on a project they worked on together. It seems that through all of Comb’s scandals, Kelly was also one of the many people who ended up hurt.
After Machine Gun Kelly’s wild times with Diddy, the rockstar is now sober. It has been many years in the making, though. However, having those types of experiences at Combs’ parties may have been a leading factor in MGK’s path to sobriety. Hopefully, the artist will stay on that path.
