We are getting close to the season of sports games, including Madden 24 getting released for all major platforms. If you haven’t played any Madden games, then you can check the free trial of the game so you could decide better. One of the benefits of getting a digital game is that you can actually preload all your data, and once the game is released, start playing it right away or even play it early. So, if you are a fan of Madden 24, here is the release date, release time, and preload of the game explained.
Madden 24 Preload and Release Date
(Updated on October 7, 2024 – updated links and format)
Madden 24 will be released for all major platforms on August 18. That is if you purchase the Standard Edition of the game. If you get to purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game, on the other hand, you will gain Early Access to the game and play it from August 15 onwards. Although the Deluxe Edition will be $20-$25 more expensive depending on where and when you buy it.
The weird thing about Madden 24 is that game still doesn’t have a preload date or preload option. That is a bummer for a lot of people with slower internet speeds. As it was mentioned in the PC system requirements of Madden 24, the game will require at least 50GB, which is not a small size.
The release hour of the game will depend on your region, but if you check your library or the store page of the game, it will tell you exactly how many days and hours are left until you can start playing the game.

It is also worth noting that fans shouldn’t expect drastic changes in the core gameplay or mechanisms of Madden 24. The biggest improvement of the game will be the graphics, updated facial, stadiums, and jerseys of the teams. EA has promised some updates on gameplay as well, but it won’t be game-changing.
