Male Karen’s Business Review Bombed After Harrassing Someone For Loading a Trailer & Claiming He ‘Owns the Road’ in California

Me thinks not.

A viral Instagram video out of California is making the rounds this week, showcasing yet another public meltdown; this time starring a self-appointed road owner who takes issue with a man loading a Chevrolet Corvette onto a trailer on a quiet, nearly empty roadway.

The clip, filmed on what the poster (@damon_rogerz) identifies as Collins Road in Del Norte County, shows the filmer calmly securing the vehicle while a male neighbor storms over, accusing him of blocking the road. But the footage makes it clear the road is barely used, completely desolate, and not meaningfully obstructed in the first place.

Despite this, the would-be enforcer insists the setup would prevent a fire truck from getting through, which is an argument that quickly escalates into outright absurdity when he doubles down and claims he “owns the road.”

Throughout the exchange, the man filming repeatedly explains that he’s not blocking traffic and will be done shortly. He remains composed, even as the confrontation drags on. The neighbor, meanwhile, appears more interested in asserting dominance than solving a problem, lingering in the roadway himself while scolding the filmer for filming and telling him to “get his expletive done.”

Eventually, the man retreats toward his house, calling the filmer “weird” and muttering one last complaint before exiting the scene.

The Instagram caption accompanying the video makes it clear the poster tried patience first:

“Apparently collins road is owned by this guy and not bye Delnorte county hmm weird… i tryed to be as nice as i possibly could and respect his wishes untill i couldent take anymore of his constant bitching.”

As with most viral “Karen” encounters, the comment section wasted no time piling on. Reactions ranged from disbelief to outright mockery, with one comment summing up the internet’s verdict succinctly: “Karens come in all shapes and forms…!”

Other commenters questioned the man’s behavior, motives, and even his physical mannerisms, while some joked about staying parked there all day just to see what would happen. A recurring sentiment was that a normal response would have been offering help instead of hostility.

The situation took an even messier turn when viewers noticed that the man’s business name was clearly visible via signage and license plates in the video. Internet sleuths quickly connected the dots, and his company soon became the target of review bombing on Google, with users calling out the behavior seen in the clip.

Whether the man truly owns the road (he doesn’t) or just had a very bad day, the video serves as another reminder that in the age of smartphones and social media, public outbursts rarely stay private. And sometimes, all it takes is a Corvette on a trailer to turn a quiet California road into the internet’s latest spectacle.
