An unnamed man in San Jose, California, has refused to take responsibility for his actions even after being caught red-handed. The man in question was recently caught on camera keying a Tesla before getting in his car and driving away.  In the viral video, the man could be seen wearing a black bomber jacket designed with the letters ‘U.S.A.’ and the American flag on the sleeves. He paired this with a plain black shirt and black trousers. He also had a distinct white beard and hair that made him easily recognizable. In a lucky twist of fate, someone ran into the same man a couple of days later in a Chase Bank parking lot and recognized him from the viral clip.

Man gets confronted after keying a Tesla by a man who saw the original video go viral on social media.

Let's make this clown famous again.

The keying incident happened in South San Jose, as reported by @teslaownersSV.

The individual guilty of keying didn’t make it particularly hard to identify him, as he was still wearing the same U.S.A. jacket from the clip where he keyed the Tesla. In addition, the alleged perpetrator was driving the same brown SUV seen in the viral clip. The only difference was his shirt was designed with the American flag and an eagle this time.

“Did you just key a Tesla the other day? You’re on video,” the person behind the camera questioned the suspect. The man then blatantly denied it, saying he did no such thing. However, he appeared nervous, fiddling with a paper in his hands. He eventually muttered, “Whatever,” before getting into his car and driving away.

Anger users on social media have aired their opinions concerning the interaction, raising hell that the man is still walking free.

One user wrote, “It’s truly incredible how brazen some people are. It’s almost like he wanted to be caught. Let’s make sure it’s the last time he pulls something like this.”

Another user on X penned, “I love it when people are criminally caught on video. Did you see how he lied, lied, lied and lied?”

A different user believes that the man who keyed the Tesla wouldn’t face any repercussions for his actions because it took place in California.

“CA, so I doubt anything serious will happen. There was a video last year of a guy keying a car in Florida that had a Trump sticker. Police arrested him and charged him with a felony,” the user added.

Another user confirmed that the man lives in San Jose, as they had seen him wearing that jacket multiple times. “I live in San Jose, and I’ve seen this guy. He wears the same jacket a lot it seems. Thought he was probably MAGA, but clearly he’s not,” the user said.

Upon further investigation, some users on X were able to use the man’s license plates to unearth more details about his car and also his VIN. He still remains unidentified, and reports of an arrest are yet to be made.
