Man Sparks Storm After Accusing Las Vegas Casino Of Kicking Him Out For Alleged Seven-Figure Win: ‘Something Else Is Up’

Feels so sketchy

One of the most interesting things about the internet is that there is almost no topic that won’t spark a reaction. A man accused a casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, of kicking him out for an alleged seven-figure win. While some internet users were sympathetic and supportive, many considered the entire story shady and had many questions.

In a viral TikTok video, the man was shown talking to a couple of security personnel who had told him that he needed to exit the building. “We just don’t want your service anymore,” one of the security guys responded when the man asked to confirm that they were not just there to check if any property was damaged but to get him to leave without any reason.

The clip had a text overlay which read, “Won $3,000,000.00 @FontainbleauLasVegas, and they kicked me out.“

The man was escorted out by almost five security personnel. Half of the internet, who were not buying the story, wasted no time airing their opinions and asking questions. “Makes zero sense. Casinos typically treat winners like royalty to ensure they come back to (or stay) with them, and they can recover their losses. Something else is up,” one stated bluntly. “I live in Vegas, and a win this big would’ve made the news,” another user pointed out. “Do you understand how exceedingly rare it is to ‘win $3m’ in Vegas at one property? Stop believing everything,” one netizen wrote, emphasizing how nearly impossible it was.

“That’s odd. Usually when you win big, you get a complimentary room, so they try to get you to spend some more money that you just won. So I need more context for this vs. they just won 3 mil, and got kicked out. Doesn’t line up,” another explained. Sharing the same sentiment, another wrote, “Would need some details on this one. Doesn’t make much sense. They’d let you play that long if you were counting cards or something, and if you weren’t gaining an edge, it doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t want a shot at some of their money back. I’d have to bet it’s a skit.” A last user on that side said, “Hahaha, if you won 3 million, you aren’t kicked out. They want you to stay. Clickbait.”

The other side of the divide didn’t keep quiet either. “Congratulations, please be safe, this world is full of envy. So glad you recorded this for safety purposes,” one user wrote. “That’s [expletive] up. “But to be real, if I won 3 million, they wouldn’t have to kick me out, I’d be trying to leave asap in case they try to drug me or send somebody to my room to get it back.”

Some users tried to explain what could have happened. “They felt like he cheated, but they couldn’t prove it, so they told him to leave, exercising the law that states you may refuse service for absolutely no reason at all. That’s wrong,” one wrote. “Maybe that’s how they keep from losing money. They didn’t have him arrested, so he must have won fair and square,” another said. “Once you win that amount of money, keeping you on the premises is a liability, and if something happens, they would be responsible, not if the guy lost the money on the way out, but if anyone is injured in the process on the premises,” a last user wrote.

The situation in Las Vegas surely raises the question of believing what one sees on the Internet. Given the absurdity of the situation, it didn’t take long for Internet users to poke holes at the information. However, there is usually an explanation for the strange things that happen. There has yet to be a follow up on what went down after the video was originally posted.
