There’s always some good to be found in the world, especially when it comes to people boosting the self-esteem of others. Sometimes, it takes a lot of courage and a little bit of silliness to bring out the best in others. One dance teacher decided to bring a little joy to some foreigner’s lives by hosting an online dance class. The whole interaction was recorded and then reposted to Reddit for all of us to enjoy.
The video depicts a video call with a teacher and five foreigners as his students, all standing in a dance position. The music starts, but the dance instructor pauses it and looks into the camera. He asks everyone to smile before they begin, taking a few moments to ensure they’re all smiling before starting again. Once everyone starts smiling, the music starts again, and everyone starts dancing along to what the instructor had previously taught them.
As the dance goes on, you can tell how much fun the men are all having despite looking a little silly. Maybe that’s really the point of the whole class: dance to build confidence. Tons of replies and upvotes came from commenters who couldn’t help but feel happy while watching the video.
