An irate man hurled racial slurs at a pharmacist simply because his medication didn’t come in the preferred form. The incident took place in a CVS pharmacy in South Florida.
A video posted on Reddit documented a heated altercation between an unnamed man and a pharmacist. The man, dressed in a black shirt and a pair of jeans, shoved a bottle of pills at the pharmacist. He forcefully asked him to take the pills back and refund his $35 because they were the wrong pills.
“Now you’re not gonna kill me. F*ck your mother, free speech, America. F*ck your mother, f*ck your father, f*ck you, give my money back for my pills,” he yelled. “F*ck you, give me my money back and I’ll leave.”
When the pharmacist tried to calm the angered suspect, he shouted, “It’s not right, I don’t care! It’s not right. That’s my heart doctor; I’m not gonna f*cking die for you, for a redneck scumbag like you!”
When he wasn’t getting any reply from the pharmacist, the suspect shouted at nobody in particular: “Now somebody better give me $35 back, is what they better do right now.’
The pharmacist apparently tried to calm the customer down because the cops were on their way, but he got even more agitated, saying, “Yes, the cops are coming. Free speech bro.” He then proceeded to call him more slurs, asking him if he was queer and if he liked men. “It’s free speech, bro. Free speech, queer. Are you queer?”
Clearly fed up, the pharmacist lost his cool at the queer allegations. He yelled back at the suspect, “Don’t talk to me like that, you hear me? Get the hell out of here!”
Several social media users reacted to the interaction, pointing out that the suspect clearly does not understand the concept of free speech. One user sarcastically commented, “Ah, yes, this is what the First Amendment is all about. Sloppy men should be able to yell slurs at pharmacists. This is free America. Free speech, bro – James Madison.”
Another said they were tired of loud, “sloppy “men. Others explained that freedom of speech does not necessarily mean that people will be free from the consequences of their speech.
An individual hilariously added that their 13-year-old child “understands the true meaning of freedom of speech better than this s**t stain.” Others suggested that the suspect was most likely a MAGA based on his queer remarks and slurs.
No further details were provided about how the altercation ended. However, nothing truly warrants such an outburst.
