Actress Mandy Moore’s second son is playing favoritism as the mom of two dedicates her time off from acting to her kids amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Like most celebrities, Mandy has participated actively in the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike aimed at pushing for better contracts for scripted film and TV actors and actresses. While she’s taking time off from productions and joining her fellow stars in the fight, she spends her spare time strengthening her relationship with her kids.
Mandy Moore’s Son Snubs Her in Video
So far, the move has earned her some extra points when it comes to family, but it pales in comparison to her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. At least, so it seems with her youngest son. In a new video shared on Instagram, the mom of two received some hardcore trolling from her 9-month-old, leaving fans relishing the adorable moment. In the video, the actress’s son Ozzie is seen seated on his dad’s lap, looking all cute.
Mandy Moore’s voice sounded in the background, attempting to cajole her son into calling her “mama.” However, her repeated attempts backfired, as the little one looked away from her instead. As she continued pushing, Ozzie spared her one more glance before sweetly saying “dada,” and bursting into mischievous laughter as he turned his gaze to his dad. Mandy joked in her caption that she considered his actions another level of trolling. She wrote,
“Being trolled by my 9-month-old son.”
The adorable video left fans gushing about Mandy’s 9-month-old son’s cute display. Many admitted to having similar encounters with their own infants, especially when getting them to say their first words. According to them, kids’ often found it easier to pronounce “dada” than to say the word “mama,” which explained Mandy Moore’s son’s seeming snub.
Sag-Aftra Strike Created a Platform for Family Time
Nonetheless, the actress is enjoying every moment of being with her family. In a recent interview with People, Mandy Moore admitted the best part about the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike was getting to spend more time with her kids, August “GUS” Harrison, 2, and 9-month-old son Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett. According to her, she never got to spend enough time with both her sons due to her career demands. Hence, having the chance to do just that is priceless. She divulged,
“I went back to work with both of them pretty soon after I had them. A month with Gus and six weeks with Ozzie. So to not be working right now and to really have this concentrated family time is so special.”
Going further, the proud mom explained that she understood how fleeting time was. Hence, she consciously tried to be present for both her kids and appreciate every moment of it. In her effort to make every moment of the SAG-AFTRA strike count, Mandy Moore is taking on several activities at once to better explore family time, factoring in the favorite activities of her son Ozzie, and his older brother.
