How much do you trust delivery services, especially when it comes to your food? I ask this because the way some people handle customers’ orders these days can be downright unsanitary at times. A woman living in Manhattan recently posted surveillance footage from her home security camera on TikTok, and what she shared about her own delivery incident was truly horrifying.
Here’s What Happened
The Uber Eats delivery driver who brought her order had arrived at her door and set his insulated bag on the floor. He unzipped it and removed the cup meant for her. But when he picked it up, he realized that part of the drink had spilled inside the bag, leaving the cup only partially full.
Rather than informing her of the spill or replacing the drink, the driver placed the cup directly on the floor. He then lifted the delivery bag and tilted it carefully so that the liquid pooled at the bottom would drip back into the cup. He continued adjusting the angle of the bag, trying to return as much of the spilled drink as possible. Although the video does not show anything after that moment, it appears that he eventually left the cup at her door as if nothing had happened before heading off.
Now the customer has a habit of checking the camera whenever her food arrives because she does not like to open the door while the delivery driver is still standing there. This time, that habit saved her, because she saw what the driver had done before she could take a sip of her drink. She has since contacted Uber Eats to report the incident and says she will no longer be using their services.

Several people urged her to take action, insisting the company needed to be held responsible. “You gotta report that to Uber Eats right away and get your money back and hold them accountable. They know it’s not sanitary and right and still do it thinking no one will find out,” one viewer commented.
