The Epstein files have been an incredibly hot topic lately, and that isn’t going to end until every bit of evidence is collected and analyzed. Unfortunately, the conversations have spread to other aspects of people’s lives, with one person experiencing something in her own hotel room. A woman on a work trip in California was shocked to discover that the TV in her hotel room listed Jeffrey Epstein as the guest.
This allegedly happened at a Marriott hotel in the state, after she had been out of the room for a while. It’s an absolutely insane situation to be in, and the comments section has blown up with advice on what steps she should take next.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @drazzzil, which doesn’t have many posts to begin with, which makes the virality of this particular video surprising. In the video, the speaker, the account holder’s partner, says she is on a work trip in California and is staying at a Marriott Bonvoy hotel.
She explains that she left early that morning and returned at night to find her television turned on. This wouldn’t typically be an issue, since room service will do this at some hotels, but it’s what was on the screen that was shocking: “Welcome, Jeffrey Epstein. Thank you for staying at Courtyard by Marriott.”
For a little additional context, the name that typically appears on the television to greet guests is the same as the one who booked the room. As a result, some people commented on the video with skepticism, with one person saying, “I just stayed at a courtyard on Saturday and the TV was on when I got to my room, but it said my first name, so I’m gonna assume you put your name as that.” Others were more shocked, with one person even saying, “Either a bad joke by the staff or a bad joke by the poster.”
Woman on California Work Trip Greeted at Marriott Hotel as Jeffrey Epstein
In one update, many of the replies suggested she see the hotel’s manager about this, with the most liked comment saying, “Contact the manager immediately. That is absolutely not okay.” According to an update video, the woman claims that the name still hadn’t been changed after a day, commenting on another person’s comment with, “They are now changing the story and saying “there was a Jeffery Epstein” at the hotel and it was a mix up. But that is NOT what they said yesterday- they said no one has that name that is checked In.”
Another update video further explains this from the account holder’s perspective, who alleges that the video was not fake and that her partner had just walked into the room when she turned on the camera. She had then reportedly gone downstairs to speak with someone about it, who allegedly offered to make things right.
Regardless of what actually happened, it’s terrifying to see that name anywhere right now. Hopefully, she can get it resolved sooner rather than later, and the hotel apologizes for its mistake.
