Marvel Rivals players are in for a treat as the game’s next big update will introduce Marvel’s First Family, The Fantastic Four. A recent post on the official Marvel Rivals X account confirmed that NetEase will release a Marvel Rivals trailer showcasing the new heroes will debut on January 6th at 8:00 AM PST / 16:00 UTC. Fans of the game and the iconic superhero team won’t want to miss this exciting reveal.

The announcement teased the arrival of The Fantastic Four with concept art showing the team in their classic blue and white costumes, reminiscent of their early comic book appearances. However, details about their release date or whether all four members—Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing—will be introduced simultaneously remain unknown.

Marvel Rivals has been steadily growing in popularity since its launch. The game reached an impressive 20 million players in December, doubling its initial success of 10 million players within the first three days of release.

The addition of The Fantastic Four is expected to bring fresh gameplay dynamics to the hero shooter. Fans of the team are particularly excited about the potential synergy between the characters, especially with The Thing, who could bolster the game’s Vanguard (Tank) options. This aligns with ongoing player requests for more Big Boy heroes in the game.

The new designs of the characters are a lot different than the versions previously seen in movies. Although The Human Torch was leaked recently, everyone else hasn’t been seen before. Mr. Fantastic has grown a beard, The Thing is bigger than ever before, and there seems to be a new robot companion as well.

Stay tuned for the January 6th reveal and get ready to welcome Marvel’s First Family to the battlefield. For those searching for the latest on the Marvel Rivals new hero or updates on the Marvel Rivals Fantastic Four, this is just the beginning of what’s to come.
