Marvel Snap is already a competitive game, but with its new Conquest mode, it gets more intense. The latest update has given the new mode to players wanting a challenge and greater rewards for their hard-earned victories. This is a much-requested feature as the game only has regular matches that increase or decrease your seasonal rank and Friendly Battle, which lets you go against your friends.
Marvel Snap Adds Conquest Game Mode and New Store
Conquest in Marvel Snap has players winning consecutive matches to go up a tier system consisting of Proving Grounds, Silver, Gold, and Infinity. Second Dinner takes note from its primary game mode by making this a seasonal mode, with new rewards each season. The Proving Grounds are free, in which you earn tickets per win to spend on getting into the next tier. Each tier requires more wins for you to continue your trajectory. In a tournament style, when you lose, you drop down and can reenter with another ticket, which can be earned or bought with gold. Each of these tiers is available all season, with Infinity being available during the final week of the season, during which you can win an exclusive Avatar frame.
It is always about new rewards and items you can buy. Not everything is locked behind wins, but some can be purchased. Medals are a new currency that you obtain from winning Conquest matches. The Medal Shop has exclusive rewards, like tickets, profile pictures, credits, boosters, and more. You will be given a seasonal reward after purchasing a certain amount of items. The one shown in the video above was a spooky Green Goblin variant. Leftover medals turn into boosters at the end of the season, encouraging you to spend what you earn.
Marvel Snap has been developing Conquest mode for some time as part of its road map. Plans in the near and far future include revamps to its Infinite Rank, shops, PC UI, social systems, and more.
