In February 2015 the studio had previously announced the production of “Super Shows”, a hybrid work combining television and videogames, in partnership withย Lions Gate Entertainment. According toย Telltale CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner,ย โ€œA โ€˜Super Showโ€™ episode combines one part of interactive playable content with one part of scripted television style content.”

Telltale reached it’s biggest success in 2012 with the launch of The Walking Dead,ย which sold one million copies in 20 days and went on to win over 80ย Game of the Year awards, leaving it’s mark as one of the greatest examples of video game story telling.
