We’ve all been violently drooling after seeing the reveal of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and now, we’re drooling even more after learning a closed beta is coming. If you didn’t know, Marvel Tokon had a brief appearance during EVO 2025 and announced a closed beta for PS5 users only. While many would’ve loved to experience this on multiple platforms, those lucky enough to have Sony’s latest console might have the opportunity to play one of the most anticipated fighting games in the market. And if you’re unsure about how to register for it, we’ll tell you all about it here.

How To Register for the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls PS5 Closed Beta

The closed beta will run from September 5 to September 7 and will feature six playable characters, including Iron Man, Dr. Doom, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Storm, and Captain America. On top of that, you’ll also be able to experience the fighting tutorial, online lobby matches, offline limited matches, and you’ll also get to experience the rollback netcode and spectator mode. Overall, it will be a packed weekend, and one that many will want to try, assuming they are lucky enough to get entry.

Speaking of which, since it is a closed beta, emphasis on “closed,” that means it will have limited spots, and not everyone will get access to it. However, if you want to register for it, you can head to this link. Once inside, follow these steps:

  1. Click the “Register” button.
  2. Complete your profile and fill out the form.

That’s it, only two steps; it isn’t hard at all. If you get accepted, you will get an email on the account you used to register for the beta, which, ideally, should be the one you use for your PS5.

Last but not least, here are the dates when the closed beta for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will start for different time zones:

  • September 5 (PDT)
  • September 6 (JST)
  • September 6 (UTC)

By the looks of it, it will kick off at midnight, but we’ll await further information or a confirmation of the exact timing.

In any case, it is great that Marvel Tokon is giving us a chance to try one of the flashiest and most anticipated fighting games that boasts an anime-like style with some of the most beloved Marvel heroes and villains out there. With Arc System Works‘ track record, we can already expect this to be another fighting banger, and one we can’t wait to get our hands on.
