Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has today launched its May 26 update across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch! Unfortunately, if you were expecting anything extravagant, you’re going to be left disappointed. Despite having a few months in between listed patches, today is simply cleaning up one thing and won’t be anything crazy. This also means we won’t be doing a full list like we traditionally do, though we’ll still provide the source for our information at the bottom of this article. With that out of the way, here’s everything new with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in its May 26 update!
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy May 26 Update Patch Notes
Today’s patch for the game brings some general localization fixes across a few languages. In particular, Chinese, Korean and Arabic have had their subtitles fixed up so they no longer show up only partially complete. That isn’t anything exciting for those of us who don’t use languages other than English and everything excluding those three, though it’s worth keeping in mind that it likely caused issues with understanding dialogue for some users abroad. Having those fixed is nice for them, and so it’s a good update regardless.
It seems like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is merely in maintenance mode at this point, which would add up based on how other single-player games are. There are very few complaints regarding how the game functions, and there isn’t much reason yet to add new content, so the team likely will only be updating the game every once in a while. The team did express in the patch notes though that if you run into any problems, you should head over to the Square Enix Support Center and let them know.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Steam post.
