Why Marvel’s Midnight Suns Is No Longer Coming to Nintendo Switch
It is currently unclear why Marvel’s Midnight Suns will no longer be coming to Nintendo Switch. The game initially saw numerous delays after it was originally announced in August 2021, ultimately being released on December 1, 2022, for its current platforms, which include PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
The game was expected to come to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on May 11, 2023, but is now only coming to PS4 and Xbox One. The official blog post does not provide any details on the reasoning behind this change, simply stating that:
Note that a Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer planned.
It is unclear if more information will be provided as to why this change was made, but it appears 2K Games and Firaxis are silent at the moment.
In other news, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will also be seeing the addition of new DLC come May 11, 2023, in the form of Blood Storm. A new trailer for Bloodstorm was showcased that featured information on her abilities and role in, as well as brand new story missions for players to embark on upon her release.
Those two who have purchased the Legendary Pass will also get automatic access to Blood Storm on May 11 at no additional cost. The season pass already includes other iconic Marvel characters like Deadpool, Venom, and Morbius.
