The Voices Program
Marvel’s Voices: Legends #1 will be released just before Black History Month kicks off. It is, of course, part of Marvel’s ongoing Voices series. This program brings readers print and digital comics throughout the year. Each one highlights the storytelling, characters, and creators that make up the unique tapestry of the Marvel Universe. These issues represent the different backgrounds and cultures that make up the world. Plus, they offer interesting stories that uplift and inspire to show how people of all types have a place in the Marvel Universe.
Marvel’s Voices: Legends
Marvel’s Voices: Legends #1 brings four new stories to celebrate Black History Month. The first comes from the team of David F. Walker and Eder Messias. The duo brings Patriot back the forefront of the Marvel Universe with a story on corruption, abuse, and hope. It features Patriot in a deadly showdown with Crossbones that forces Elijah Bradley to examine his family’s legacy.
Misty Knight’s 50th anniversary kicks off with a “Daughters of the Dragon” story from Justina Ireland. Misty is joined by Colleen Wang to prove why they are two of the best in the Marvel Universe. Then, Ezra Clayton Daniels makes his Marvel debut alongside Sean Damien Hall for a Deathlok story. While Michael Collins has always used his powers for good, a new fight forces him to make some tough decisions.
Marvel’s Voices: Legends #1 hits shelves on 1/31.
