Even as Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to experience delays, EA has provided fans with something else to tide them over in the meantime. The”Mass Effect: New Earth” 4D experience is the newest ride coming to California’s Great America theme park. And you won’t have to wait for it much longer.
The attraction was revealed last year but was never given a firm opening day until today. In a Twitter post, the theme park announced that the ride will officially open on May 18. They also pointed guests toward their season pass information, which range in price depending on what sort of experience you want at the park. Season passes are on a monthly payment plan, with the lowest providing users with discounts on guests and food, as well as unlimited summer and fall visits. Check out the commercial from the new ride below.

The Mass Effect attraction will combine a 3D visual experience with motion and live performers. It is also said that the ride will feature the world’s largest LED screen. Mass Effect‘s developer, Bioware, and EA are working with Great America to bring this ride to life. With all of the technology promised for this attraction, “Mass Effect: New Earth” is really trying to bring guests into the world of Commander Shepard and the Normandy.
Seems like the perfect time for a vacation to me!
