The long-rumored Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered is coming?
If a new listing at a Portuguese retailer can be believed, there’s some confirmation. On Wednesday morning, industry insider Nibel spotted the listing, and posted it on Twitter.
The revelation that a Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered exists isn’t new on its own. There has been talk for months that October would get an official announcement.
However, because Bioware has been mum, there have been rumblings that rumors was all it was. There still isn’t an official announcement.
Still, when retailers start putting up listings, it’s just short of confirmation. In order for that to really be confirmation, though, the page needs to stay up.
Not long after the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered pages showed up, they were taken down by Gaming Replay.
To be clear, this was clearly a placeholder. The Xbox One, PS4 and Switch pages showed box art, though it was later pointed out the box art was likely unofficial.
The logo used was actually from previous reports of Mass Effect Trilogy.

Perhaps the most interesting thing to take away from those listings is the price difference. According to Gaming Replay, the Switch version is $10 cheaper.
Normally when a title comes out on the platforms on the same day, it’s also the same price. This listing could either be quite the step away from that for the Mass Effect Trilogy, or a mistake.
It should also be pointed out the listings being taken down don’t mean they were wrong. The retailer might simply have not meant to “go live” with them just yet.
When Will We Know More?
As is usually the case, we’ll likely hear more about this in the very near future. If there is an October release date, it could be in a matter of days, if not hours.
It’s possible the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered listing went live because someone simply set the time wrong.
