Earlier this week (April 27th, 2020), our writer Damian covered the absence of the May 2020 Games with Gold offer. In his post, he discusses some of the possibilities why the May 2020 Games with Gold offers. The obvious theory that I agree with Damian on is: Microsoft is busy dealing with the Xbox Series X and spread thin because of Covid-19. Let’s be honest, we are all a little scatterbrained because of the quarantine. Until today, I was under the impression that it was already May. So despite a mix-up in my schedule, let’s dive into the May 2020 Games with Gold offer.

The May 2020 Games with Gold offer might not seem like much at first, however, when you look into the four titles you will be pleasantly surprised. The offer grants players a dungeon crawler, a soccer simulator, a racing game, and a hack & slash adventure. Despite Major Nelson’s unusual wording during the announcement video, the line up feels solid despite being a bit dated. So what are the four titles you may ask?

The four May 2020 Games with Gold titles are V-Rally 4, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, Sensible World of Soccer, and Overlord II. Xbox One Gold members will have access to all four titles; whereas, Xbox 360 members will only have access to Sensible World of Soccer and Overlord II.

Starting on May 1st, V-Rally 4 (May 1-31) and Sensible World of Soccer (May 1-15) will be free to Gold members. Starting on May 16th, Gold members will be able to download Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr (May 16-June 15) and Overlord II (May 16-31).

Reminder

Today is the last day to redeem the April 2020 Games with Gold offers excluding the Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle. So grab Project CARS 2 & Toybox Turbos before it’s too late. Remember you must be an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate member to redeem the Games with Gold offers. If your Xbox Live expires, the Xbox One games will no longer be able to be played until renewing your membership.
