Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, may no longer be working members of the royal family, and that might be for the best. Sources claim that during Meghan’s time at Buckingham Palace, she didn’t get off on the best foot when it came to many in the royal circle, including the staff members. Sources are now revealing that Meghan’s antics even once led to an intervention by Queen Elizabeth herself.
“She probably is not very good with staff or people that she’s employing. It’s just very unattractive, Vickers stated. “You should always be very polite to people who work for you because otherwise they’re going to get very put out.”
According to a report by The Daily Mail, Meghan Markle once degraded a Palace gardener so badly that Queen Elizabeth was forced to step in and defuse the situation. Royal historian Hugh Vickers reveals that his sources have revealed the extent of Meghan’s rudeness to staffers during her time living in the UK with Prince Harry. Because the Queen was a big believer in being civil and polite to staff members, Markle’s behavior didn’t go over well with her.
The sources claim that when Meghan stepped over the line with the undergardener, it was the head gardener at Windsor who approached the Queen about the situation. The late monarch then reportedly drove to Meghan’s home to give her a piece of her mind.
Meghan Markle’s Rude Palace Power Play Revealed
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Meghan Markle has been accused of bullying. She’s reportedly been seen by staffers being rude to people both in person and on the phone. She was also said to have once “screamed” at a florist for 30 minutes after they failed to mention that the Duchess of Sussex was working with them in an online post.
Of course, fans had a lot of opinions upon hearing the allegations of Markle’s rudeness.
