Meghan Markle is ready to step into the politics game. The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly looking to take advantage of President Joe Biden‘s exit from the 2024 Presidential Elections. She wants to ride on Kamala Harris’ wave to start a career of her own.
Sources claim Meghan wants to join the bevy of celebrities endorsing the vice president who has kickstarted her campaign to be the First Female President. Royal reporter Kinsey Schofield alleged that the Duchess wants to be “involved” in this year’s election. She participated in the 2020 elections, which came on the heels of her and Prince Harry‘s exit from the Royal Family. However, this time, Meghan’s “political aspirations” might inspire her to take things up a notch. Schofield explained to GB News:
“Meghan wants to be included, this is potentially a very historic election. We really saw Meghan involved, including with Kamala Harris in some voter campaigns in 2020, and I think this is a great way for Meghan Markle to get her foot in the door.”
It is no surprise that Kamala Harris’ presidential move might inspire Meghan to make a career transition to politics. During the 2020 elections, she loudly praised Biden’s decision to make Harris his VP. At the time, she said, “I’m so excited to see that kind of representation. For me, being biracial, growing up, whether it was a doll or a person in office, you need to see someone who looks like you in some capacity.”
Prince Harry ‘Bored’ Of American Life
While Meghan seems to be deepening her roots in the US with a transition to politics, Harry is reportedly tired. Royal expert Tom Quinn claimed the Duke is feeling isolated amid the contentious feud with his family. Harry misses his friends deeply but can’t even get them to visit because of “difficult” Meghan.
“Harry is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult.”
Even during Harry’s visit to the United Kingdom recently, he didn’t visit his pals because of his wife. Quinn explained that the Duke has undergone a reinvention that makes it hard to reconcile with people from his past life. Meghan is seemingly all Harry has but will that be sustainable?
