Upon receiving the special package, Meghan stared at the unboxed items in disbelief and excitement before delving into the emotional story behind it.

Meghan Markle recounted visiting Altadena with her husband, Prince Harry, about three weeks ago. During their tour of a ravaged community, she stumbled upon a 15-year-old girl and her mom who came around to search through the ruins where their home once stood. Upon interacting with the duo, Meghan Markle discovered that the teenager wanted nothing more than to recover her precious t-shirt from a Billie Eilish concert. She divulged,
“All that she’d been looking for in her home was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she’d just gone to that she left in the washing machine or the dryer. And of course, they now see their home and the washing machine, the dryer is ash… they’re not there anymore.”
Meghan Markle explained how she reassured the Altaena teenager she could try to figure something out despite not knowing Billie Eilish personally. The duchess sprung into action thereafter, contacting everyone she knew who could link her to the songstress. She even made a voice note with her appeal and urged those she knew to get it to Eilish.
Billie Eilish Teams Up With Meghan to Aid Teen
Impressively, not only did Eilish respond to the appeal by sending a signed T-shirt to the teenager, but she also sent other goodies alongside it. The icon squealed in excitement as she unraveled the mystery package containing the famed Billie Eilish lunch box, set, several fabrics, including the t-shirt, and a signed copy of her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. Meghan Markle proceeded to thank Billie Eilish for coming through for the Altadena teen, who lost everything else in the LA wildfires. She also extended gratitude to the likes of Adam Levine and Bahti, who made it all possible by linking her to the crooner. The mom-of-two quipped,
“Huge thank you Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her and honestly Adam Levine and Bahati, you guys helped get this over the line. To everyone who is showing up for people in big and small ways to get through what’s happened in California, just thank you so much!”
Accompanying her sweet video, Meghan Markle shared a heartfelt plea, urging everyone to keep supporting victims of the LA wildfires.
