Meghan Markle Wants Prince Harry to Ditch Lawsuits and ‘Live in the Moment’

Meghan Markle is ready to let go, but not Harry

Meghan Markle is completely swamped with the weight of unending lawsuits burdening her husband Prince Harry since leaving royal life. Aside from his legal battles with the press, Harry has taken the legal route to see to the reinstating of his taxpayers-funded security after he was stripped in 2020. Although he lost the bid, the Duke of Sussexes has plans to appeal, making for yet another pending legal issue. As his legal woes continue to pile up, Meghan Markle is reportedly concerned for her husband and hopes Prince Harry would let go at this point.

Speaking to People, a former employee of the Archewell Foundation dissected Meghan’s worries, and how much she wished her husband could live a normal life. The source noted that her concerns came from a place of care, as she still strived to support his actions completely regardless of her wishes, saying,

“Meghan supports Harry 100 percent. But she wishes he could let go of these lawsuits, be happy and live in the moment.”

Going further, the former employee claimed the duchess simply wanted her man “to be free of all this.” However, Meghan Markle understood that Prince Harry’s fight was for the good of herself, and their kids, making him unlikely to comply with her wishes to drop lawsuits. The source added,

“She [Meghan] wants him to live in a world where he is not burdened by this.”

Only King Charles Could End Prince Harry’s Lawsuits

Sadly, Meghan Markle’s Desire for her husband’s happiness rests on a near-impossible feat. According to People, insiders believe the major motivation behind Prince Harry’s legal battles is his desire to secure his family’s safety. He believes his dad, King Charles, had the power to reinstate his security even without the messy legal back and forth. However, the monarch has completely shut out his “spare” son after the whole drama.

Another source close to Prince Harry confirmed that King Charles no longer takes his son’s calls, or answers his letters. This makes it impossible for Prince Harry to get through to his dad even as the lawsuits keep tearing him down. These sources claim the estranged royal has turned to his father for help repeatedly, “determined to protect his family at all cost.”

So far, King Charles has seemingly turned a blind eye, openly snubbing Harry during his UK visit on May 8 to spearhead an Invictus Games event. At the time, Harry’s team released a statement claiming King Charles could not meet with him due to his busy schedule. Going by these new revelations about the state of Harry’s relationship with his dad, which has grown from “frustration to complete silence,” things clearly are not that straightforward.
