There appeared to be a group of street performers or dancers entertaining a crowd nearby when, all of a sudden, a man sprinted through the street with two others chasing after him. The fleeing Miami man was swiftly tackled by one of his pursuers, and the two tumbled onto the sidewalk. But the would-be dine and dasher was not ready to give up just yet. After wriggling free from the first pursuer, he tried to run again, only for the second man to arrive and trip him with his foot. Working together, the two pursuers managed to subdue the man and began dragging him back toward the restaurant.
Unfortunately for them, the Miami man still had no intention of abandoning his dine and dash attempt. He tried to break free once more, but his legs did not cooperate this time, and he stumbled and fell again. This gave the pursuers enough time to catch him for good. The video ended with the man being taken away, although the cameraman did not follow, leaving it unclear what happened next. Most viewers assumed he eventually had to deal with Miami police officers for his failed attempt.
Reddit users had plenty to say about the chaotic footage. Many remarked that the scene was pure madness. Besides the fleeing dine and dasher, the background was filled with people partying and dancing, seemingly oblivious to the chase unfolding just a few feet away.
