As Sean Diddy Comb’s trial begins, fans are speculating that he was not only violent with Cassie Ventura but also with his ex, Lori Harvey. The speculations started after Michael B. Jordan’s name was mentioned during the jury selection. And one thing that links Jordan and Combs is that they both dated Harvey.
May 5 was the first day of the selection for potential jurors, and they were asked if they were familiar with certain celebrities, including the Creed star. A source disclosed that the Sinners star’s name was mentioned because of his association with Ventura.
In the Me & U singer’s 2023 lawsuit against Diddy, she detailed having a “flirtatious relationship with an actor.” However, the rapper found out about the affair and allegedly “called the actor and threatened him.” The actor referenced in the lawsuit is Jordan, People Magazine confirms.
The news of Jordan’s name being mentioned in the trial brought to mind of fans that he and the music producer also dated Harvey. Some netizens began to theorize about the possibility of the model being abused by Combs.
This user wrote, “Notably, to me anyway, Diddy and Michael B. Jordan also both dated Lori Harvey. This trial hopefully represents the end of a cruel, sick, and violent situation.”
Another person added, “Just for him to end up dating Lori after him lol. He feared nothing.” Recall that Harvey and Diddy sparked relationship rumors in 2019 after they were spotted enjoying a vacation together.
However, the rumors ended after the model unfollowed the disgraced rapper later that year. Two years later, the influencer started dating the Black Panther actor in a very public romance that ended after only 18 months.
Was There Bad Blood Between Michael B Jordan And Sean Diddy Combs?
Although it took the trial to expose Diddy allegedly threatening Jordan, it appears that the bad blood between them was no secret. A recently resurfaced video showed that the Just Mercy actor was denied entry to Combs’ BET Awards after-party in 2015.
As seen in the clip, the Sinners actor pulled up to the event but was immediately turned away by the security at the door. When asked why he wasn’t allowed into the party, Jordan humbly replied that the club was at capacity.
However, the video’s commentary hinted that the businessman would have gone all out to get Jordan into the party if the duo were cool. As for Comb’s trial, the jury selection is scheduled to end on May 12, and it is confirmed that Jordan won’t be testifying.
