Michelle Obama was spotted looking tense as she stepped out for dinner sans her husband Barack Obama amid divorce buzz. The former First Lady was seen having dinner with her brother, Craig Robinson, as they hit up Hollywood hotspot, Mother Wolf. The siblings appeared to be deep in conversation during their outing. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that Barack was nowhere to be seen after months of rumors that the pair are preparing to officially end their marriage.
According to the U.S. Sun, Michelle Obama was photographed hanging with her brother over the weekend. She wore a stylish suit ensemble with a matching jacket and pants. She rocked a black shirt underneath. Michelle accessorized the look with multiple chunky rings on her fingers and a small handbag. She had her long hair pulled half up away from her face. The strands fell down her back and over her shoulders. She completed the look with a pair of dark heels. Michelle’s older brother opted for a hoodie with a dark blazer over top.
The outing only proved to fuel the rumors that Michelle and Barack Obama are headed for divorce. Michelle was said to be flanked by security during the dinner. She and her brother were said to eat family-style during their time at the establishment.
Michelle Obama Spotted in ‘Serious Conversation’ Amid Divorce Buzz with Barack Obama
The mother-of-two was reportedly warm and friendly to staff members. However, once she was seated she and Robinson allegedly began to engage in a heavy conversation.
“The restaurant was given a heads up just before she arrived because there are certain security protocols that need to be put in place and followed before she gets there,” an insider told the outlet. “She was extremely friendly to everyone as she walked in. She’s been here a few times before so some staff has gotten friendlier with her. Once she sat down though, it looked like she was having serious conversations.”
It was previously reported that Barack and Michelle are headed for a split. However, before announcing their alleged divorce, they’re getting all of their assets in order. The former President and his wife have reportedly been working on dividing up money, property, and other shared assets, as source claim they’re looking to have everything settled before officially announcing their divorce to the public. If the Obama’s divorce drama is true, they would become the first former President and First Lady to divorce after leaving the White House.
“She is a big girl and a former First Lady. She can handle it,” one fan commented on the rumors.
“Only people in a truly loving relationship after 30 years, understand that there’s us, and me independently,” another stated.
