The elections are the talk of the town lately, but in some cases, for the wrong reasons. Recently, President Trump called for an FBI investigation into the Michigan election claims. However, this announcement was a bit controversial for some, as those in the state think Trump is trying to scare people from voting or make them doubt the system. While some citizens have urged people to ignore whatever the President is trying to do, some still fear that this alleged scare tactic will work.
If you didn’t know, President Trump has been saying that Michigan, especially the Get Out the Vote organization, has been allegedly submitting fraudulent registration forms, and with that in mind, Trump thought the best thing to do was to get the federal authorities involved and called the FBI to conduct an investigation over the state elections.
Despite Trump asking for the investigation, people and officials have been pushing against it. For instance, Michigan’s Secretary of State Benson has already said that the elections in the state have always been secure. The state’s governor also said the same, mentioning that any attempt to claim the elections aren’t safe is just a way to “undermine voters’ rights.”
People also chimed in, saying that Trump might be using some form of scare tactics. With so many claims about the elections being unsafe, some residents, in and outside of the state, believe that Trump just wants to make people doubt the system, hoping that some won’t vote or just halt the election process. Still, some have urged citizens not to listen to these claims, as fear could affect the midterms, which is something that could alter the country’s course soon.
Michigan Residents Think Trump is Trying to Scare Them
After reading this claim, many people just saw this as another alleged scare tactic by the President, saying that it was unfounded and just looking for means to tamper with the election process.

“He’s trying to plant seeds of doubt into the voters’ minds. Stop treating his comments as legitimate ones and realize that it’s simply a method of manipulation.“
Others, however, fired directly at Trump, saying that he’s just throwing a tantrum.
“All of this nonsense because an 80-year-old’s fragile ego can’t accept that he lost an election.“
In the end, it is unclear whether the investigation will happen or not, but people hope officials will stop Trump, as they fear this could affect the upcoming elections.
