TikTok has become one of the most popular social media apps in the world, with countless users. However, it has also become a place where those users can share their stories, even the paranormal ones. So, that’s exactly what this Michigan school worker did: share her own little ghost story. By posting a TikTok video to the account @JMara, the woman’s story has now gone viral. The clip has over 4.9 million views with around 600K likes, as social media learns about this woman’s scary tale.
The TikTok begins with the woman sitting in what appears to be a classroom. However, no lesson plans could ever prepare the internet for what this Michigan woman allegedly saw. The TikToker gets into it right off the bat, as she asks viewers if they’d like to hear about her paranormal encounter. The school worker claimed that while taking the class out to recess, “ghost kids” allegedly attempted to pass themselves off as human children. She also states that they “Lined up” and “tried to come into the school.”
She then begins to give a little context to the story. The woman claimed she is not a teacher, but a volunteer at her daughter’s school. She then explains that they help the teacher with anything she needs, and this time around, it was recess duty. However, this is where things get a little unsettling. The TikTok’s poster claimed she was in charge of watching 14 students while they were outside. The kids were reportedly playing in a grassy area with minimal trees, so the woman could still keep an eye on them.
Michigan Woman Shares Ghost Story on TikTok
When the children begin to wander slightly too far away from the Michigan woman, she begins to call them back. However, the kids do not listen right away and continue on with what they were doing. Finally, when the worker would start walking that direction, all the kids would allegedly run up to her. When she went to check for stragglers, though, nobody was left behind. Despite the woman claiming she had a strange feeling, recess was over, and it was time for the kids to line up.
As the children line up to head inside, the woman states she does a headcount to make sure she got all 14 of them. However, after counting, she claimed the number had jumped from 14 to 19. After the initial confusion wears off, she begins to start “looking at faces.” However, the last five kids in line are allegedly complete strangers to the school worker. The Michigan woman even claimed to have talked to one of these “ghosts.”
The Michigan school worker looked noticeably shocked in the TikTok. Although, there will never be any way of telling if her story is true or not. The woman claimed the kids ran off, behind a tree, and disappeared shortly after being discovered. This has led to quite the debate in the TikTok comment section. “I hope they find peace,” wrote one user who seems to believe the woman. Despite what happened or what didn’t, it’s a cool story to hear either way.
