Miley Cyrus made major headlines for her see-through MTV VMAs dress back in August 2020, but the pop singer didn’t just prove a talking point for her red carpet look. Posting to Instagram after the high-profile event, Miley posed in her sheer gown while placing a slice of pizza to her mouth, and the caption came with a giant confession.
Showing off what looked like an appetite for pizza, Miley actually revealed that she’d opted for something else to eat, and the details may have made fans shudder. Cyrus has since made global headlines for the smash-hit success of her “Flowers” track, but this was long before the blonde was kicking off her Endless Summer Vacation era.
Miley Cyrus Shows Off Her Pizza On Instagram
Seated on trailer steps and taking a moment away from the red carpet spotlight, Miley struck a glam pose as she modeled a sheer, black, strapless dress from designer Mugler.
Rocking the see-through trend as metallic dots all over the dress jazzed the whole thing up, the former Disney star showed off her lean arms and shoulders as she added in a strappy pair of black heels, also sporting a black manicure.
Holding up her pizza slice near her mouth, Miley went bold with red lipstick as she rocked her mullet hairdo, also flashing her legs as she went slit with her gown.
Making Her Indian Food Confession
In a caption, Miley wrote:
“Truth is I didn’t eat the pizza…. I had 4 day old Indian food to celebrate instead.”

Fans have left the songstress over 1 million likes. Celebrity likes were left by model Bella Hadid, reality star Kourtney Kardashian, and actress Reese Witherspoon.
Fast-forward over three years, and Cyrus is bigger than ever. It’s been just over a year since she released her “Flowers” single, one that broke records and was recently mentioned on the star’s social media.
Posting to Instagram earlier this month, Miley wrote:
“One year ago today “Flowers” started making people happy & that makes me happy. Love you. Thank you. XO MC.”

Of the singledom anthem assumed to be about ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, Miley has revealed:
“I wrote it in a really different way,” adding: “The chorus was originally: ‘I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, but I can’t love me better than you can.’ It used to be more, like, 1950s. The saddest song. Like: ‘Sure, I can be my own lover, but you’re so much better.’”
