The Wild Update, the most recent addition to Minecraft, adds several new features, including new critters and biomes. Now, players can come by a brand-new miniboss named Warden in one of those fresh biomes. Although it is a formidable foe, this creature is also one of the primary attractions of The Wild Update. Knowing more about the Warden is essential. Especially if crafters want to prepare for an excursion into the Deep Dark’s Ancient Cities to locate some of Minecraft 1.19’s treasures. This information will be necessary if you want to force a confrontation or simply learn how to avoid the Warden. We’ll go over all you need to know about the Warden in this article, including where to find it, how to fight it, and how to escape, if necessary, in Minecraft.

How to Find the Warden in Minecraft

Minecraft Find Warden

Only in the Deep Dark may one find the Warden in Minecraft 1.19. It will no longer climb to the surface to cause mayhem in the open. Since the Deep Dark is located below Y – 0, you will probably come upon the biome whilst diamond mining.

Grab a torch to illuminate your surroundings and enter the Deep Dark. The Warden will then spawn if players just start walking around. Sculk, a brand-new block that permits vibrations to pass through it, is spread all over the Deep Dark. Sculk Shriekers will then raise an alert that spawns the Warden as a result of the vibrations created by movement, opening doors, looting chests, and building.

That is all you need to know if you want to find the Warden and fight it. Simply explore until you reach the Deep Dark, after which you must run about for a while until it emerges. When the Warden draws near, candles and other surrounding lights will begin to flash, letting you know of its presence.

How to Escape the Warden in Minecraft

Minecraft Escape Warden

Crouch as you move about the Deep Dark if you wish to evade the Warden. You can move without arousing adjacent Sculk Shriekers when sneaking since no vibrations are sent via the Sculk. Sculk Sensors, however, which are tiny traps dispersed throughout the Deep Dark, must still be avoided. These Sensors will emit signals if you walk over them, which will notify the Warden.

Every sound you make will cause a vibration that alerts the Warden and draws it nearer. It is recommended to travel alone if you wish to explore the Deep Dark because the Warden will also hear and attack other creatures.

If the Warden is close, toss something loud to chase it off. The Warden will investigate the sound, and you will have the opportunity to skulk away. We advise running toward the closest source of light if the Warden does notice you. Players can use this to their advantage to flee because the Warden will hide underground from brightly illuminated areas. However, because the Warden can easily outrun the player at default movement rates, you might want to think about drinking a Potion of Swiftness for this sprint.

How to Fight the Warden in Minecraft

Well, truth be told, you don’t actually want to. With 250 hearts and 3 orbs of experience to show for it, this battle is honestly a bit pointless.

Minecraft is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X|S, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
