Men appear to be folding their arms in silence and leaving women to take the lead, according to a TikToker in Minnesota who went on a passionate rant. She warned that men staying silent amid ICE oppression could eventually lead to their wives leaving them.

In a video posted on TikTok, the woman could be seen recording herself inside a car. “Like I actually don’t have a single friend who is like thrilled with how their husband is reacting to all of this,” she said.

“Most of them are describing their husbands as ‘ostriching,” she continued, explaining that many men are sticking their heads in the sand and pretending nothing is happening, while women are stepping up and trying to find solutions. “How are we going to prepare and protect ourselves?” she asked, sharing the concerns of women whose husbands dismiss them as overly emotional and claim they are overreacting.

Snapping her fingers, she exclaimed, “It’s time to wake up, protect your family,” before adding, “My friends are losing complete faith in their partners at this point.” She further revealed that the divorces that would follow would reach an “unprecedented number,” as she boldly stated that men are failing their families.

The video sparked intense reactions online, with users flooding the comments section. “Women are always alert to danger long before men,” one person wrote. Another added, “Imagine being sooooo privileged to not worry about society falling apart😒.” A third commenter said, “Women have grown up protecting themselves and each other from violence. We know it’s real, see the signs, and prepare.”

Another user claimed, “It’s because the men secretly agree with it happening and voted for Trump behind their wives’ backs,” insinuating silent support for the administration. One woman shared her personal experience, writing, “I’ve had to educate my husband in slow digestible bits of information. A gentle unbrainwashing, if you will. We’re old. It’s taken me our entire marriage.”

Another questioned the expectations placed on men, writing, “Men are why we are here. Why are we looking to THEM to fix it?” Someone added, “Men saying that their wives are overreacting are gaslighting them. This is the time to be concerned and prepared.” Another user noted a similar pattern, saying, “It is something I’ve noticed as well. My female friends are far more engaged than my male friends. I don’t understand it at all.” Someone bluntly stated, “The system works for them. They do not care.” A user described tension in her own home, writing:

“My husband doesn’t want to hear anything about any of it. He is annoyed when I bring it up. I tried to tell him about the Sascha Riley stuff, and we got into a fight because he doesn’t want to be impacted by it. I talk about Renee Good, and he tells me we don’t have to worry. His lack of interest is driving me crazy.”

Someone offered a different perspective, saying, “From my knowledge, they have to be told what to do by women because it comes naturally to us. WE are the real protectors.” Another drew a historical comparison, asking, “Isn’t this what happened in Germany? The women were scared and wanted to leave and the men waited until it was too late…??”
