For fans holding out hope that Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, are going to have children, a new report suggests this is simply not in their future. But that doesn’t mean that the Wranglers singer’s life is not full; she is an animal lover, and she has a large collection of pets who are her whole world. She is also a stepmom to McLoughlin’s toddler. But why does Lambert allegedly have no desire to have mini cowboys and cowgirls of her own?
Miranda Lambert has emphasized how important family is to her before, but family can come in many different shapes and sizes. “My stepson is amazing,” she previously told Extra (via Hello! magazine). “I’m loving that whole phase, and I’ve raised a million dogs, so I feel like I’ve got that part of my womanly/motherly thing full, so this is a whole new journey. It’s great.”
Recently a souce touched on the topic of Lambert experiencing motherhood again, sharing with InTouch Weekly whether the singer plans to have children, and again, it seems like she is content with how her life is right now. “Miranda says her life is full without being a mom and that she and Brendan are super happy just the way things are,” an insider told the publication. “She likes to say, ‘Never say never,’ but she’s 40, and right now, kids just aren’t in her future.” In the same article, the publication addressed McLoughlin and whether he had a desire to expand his family.
“While he’d love to have a baby with Miranda, he respects her decision and loves her no matter what,” the insider shared. “Something seems to be working. People didn’t think they’d last, and they’ve been married for over five years now!”
It is true that Miranda Lambert’s recent Instagram photos of herself and Brendan McLoughlin suggest that they spend a lot of time together and also appear to be really happy.
