Miranda Lambert’s fans love it whenever she teases new music, and her collaboration with Wade Bowen has generated a lot of excitement. The Wranglers singer posted a short clip of herself and Bowen singing Silver Wings. They look relaxed, with Lambert sporting a blue cowboy hat and Bowen wearing a cap, as they strum at their guitars. Lambert shared more about what they were getting up to in the caption of her post, writing, “Silver Wings on two @epiphone bluebirds.”
The clip of Lambert and Bowen may be short, but it’s also sweet. It has received positive fan reactions. Not only do fans want to hear more of this song, but they are also hopeful that a whole album could be released in the future because they feel these two stars sound so good together.
“Love this. Please do an entire album of this stuff;” one excited fan wrote. “LOVE IT! That’s Pure Texas Country Music right there!,” another Instagram user added. Other fans agreed, and it’s clear the people want more. “Wow! sounds amazing! Can y’all release this? Slowly fading out of sight.”
The clip has also inspired fans to focus on their own music. “This was enough to make me want to get this guitar even though I have no idea how to play,” a comment reads. “One of my favorites, sweet memories from years ago.” Fans of Lambert and Bowen will know that he was a special guest at her recent Whitewater Amphitheater show earlier this month (May 24, 2024, to be exact). They have also been friends for decades and have penned songs together, so it’s entirely possible they will release a lot of new music together in the future, right?!
If the comments on the post reflect how fans feel, then a full album collaboration is something that many people want and would support.
