Miranda Lambert was cruelly body-shamed by her own Instagram followers as she stunned with red-carpet photos last summer. Posting with husband Brendan McLoughlin, the Grammy winner showed off her hourglass curves in a plunging blue dress as she attended the annual ACM Awards, but talk in the comments was of her size.
Trolling and shaming the country singer, fans commented that she was looking “heavier than she wants to be,” with one user expressing concern as they said that Miranda looked “bloated.” Lambert does not appear to have addressed the remarks.
Miranda Lambert Stuns In Low-Cut Dress On Instagram
Posing confidently with her 2019-married husband, Miranda sizzled in a deep-cut blue dress with a thigh slit and tan embellishments at the bust.
Drawing the eye to her cleavage and shapely waistline, the Idyllwind founder dazzled as she sported her light locks down, with a matte face of makeup bringing out her cheekbones via plenty of bronzer.
Adding in a white manicure, Miranda kept glam before switching to a gorgeous ruffly dress in a swipe right as she performed at the event. Also included was an airport runway shot of the singer still in her dress and headed toward a private plane while accompanied by former NYPD officer Brendan. “Last night,” Miranda wrote, then tagging the awards.
Told She Looks Too Heavy And ‘Bloated’
Gaining over 80 likes was a shaming comment reading: “The dress would look better if it fit! Thanks.” In a particularly cruel remark, one fan said: “Cut wayyy back on the daily hamburger intake.”
While one user stated that the “Bluebird” hitmaker looks “heavier than she wants to be,” another appeared worried for her health. “I am wondering if she has a medical condition going on? She’s beautiful…she looks pretty bloated,” this fan wrote, with 50 others agreeing.
“She needs someone to help with her wardrobe selection…that blue dress is not flattering at all!” was just another comment. Fortunately, Lambert did receive positive feedback, with one fan calling her “gorgeous.” The post also earned the star over 180,000 likes.
Despite the celebrity space appearing to become more inclusive, stars continue to be body-shamed. Celebrities including singers Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, plus actress Jessica Simpson have all been tormented by fans over their weight.
2023 was a busy year for Miranda, who enjoyed success with her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency.
