Miranda Lambert suffered a wave of cruel body-shaming as she stepped out in a tight denim jumpsuit and cowboy boots in October 2022. The country singer was photographed arriving to speak with Jimmy Kimmel in NYC that fall, turning heads in her skintight one-piece and also making the news for seeing husband Brendan McLoughlin accompanying her.
Despite putting on a stylish display as she confidently flaunted her curvy figure, Miranda was actually called “fat” by a media outlet, with users seeing the paparazzi photos also deeming her too heavy. Lambert has, as The Nerd Stash has documented, been tormented over her shape before. The Grammy winner has never responded to the trolls, although chances are, she isn’t thrilled over seeing fans bully her about her weight.
Miranda Lambert Bullied Over Weight In Cowgirl Look
Stunning in her all-denim outfit, Miranda was photographed in a clingy, medium-blue denim jumpsuit with button detailing and a form-fitting finish. The “Bluebird” singer had opted for bust and traditional pockets as she accessorized her look with a heeled, ankle-rise pair of cowboy boots in silvery snakeskin, also rocking the large hoop earring look adored by reality star Khloe Kardashian.
Carrying a beverage as she wore a heavy face of makeup and her flowing blonde locks down, Miranda offset her 2019-married husband, who wore a cream jersey t-shirt and jeans, plus white sneakers.
Actually Called ‘Fat’
Perhaps shocking to fans is Magzter‘s report of the outing. The outlet stated that Lambert’s husband was “[keeping] her fat and happy.”
Unfortunately, shaming comments manifested elsewhere. When The Daily Mail reported the star’s Big Apple outing, users took to the comments section with remarks about her weight.
“Looks like she has gained a bit of weight,” one stated. Hurtfully, another called the Idyllwind clothing designer “huge.” There was backup for the much-loved singer, though. Horrified at the level of body-shaming, one fan jumped in to write: “What is wrong with some of you people? So she gained weight. So what? Leave her alone. Pretty sure you all shaming her aren’t perfect.”
“It’s obvious she struggles with her weight. I’m sure it’s a lot of pressure for anyone in the public eye to constantly watch what they eat to stay thin. I don’t think she should be condemned for gaining weight,” another said.
Miranda joins the lists of stars who have been shamed over their weight. Also victims of trolling remarks have been singers Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.
