Right when you’d expect the police to take the calm approach toward a running suspect that’s handcuffed and definitely not able to escape, a Mississippi cop shows no mercy for the criminal in question, shoving the man against the wall with heavy impact on the hit. This begs the questions: why run when you’re at a great disadvantage? And why shove a man who’s handcuffed and missing a shoe?
In a stunning video uploaded to r/PublicFreakout, which has since gone viral on social media platforms, a chaotic crime scene unfolded centering on a group of cops surrounding a white car at a house. The video starts with a white vehicle parked on a driveway that has all its doors open, which is likely due to the police who are conducting the investigation. But then a man, who is notably the suspect, runs from behind the white car.
From the looks of it, the fleeing suspect was about to be taken to custody with his hands cuffed, and for some reason, he was missing a shoe while he was booking it. He manages to escape — well, for a few moments, anyway — and curses the cops with the same word a few times, but then suddenly, tragedy strikes. One of the policemen chasing the suspect from the other side of the white car jumps in, shoving the man as if he’s blocking the attacking player close to their goal in Football. “That was a solid hit,” expresses one of the commenters.
While it’s unclear whether the suspect was hurt during the wall-smashing ruckus, he seems to be okay following the startling incident, as the police help him to his feet. As one commenter puts it, “his head hit the bricks at full speed and his spine folded in half.”
While it’s hard to discern, as the camera’s mic is not very close to the suspect, it sounds like the man is saying “broke my motherf***in’ back. Let me talk to my old lady” as he gets back up. This incident happened in Brandon, Mississippi, and as of right now, there is no clear info on why exactly the man was taken to custody and if the cop has faced any charges for shoving the suspect to the wall.
