A woman named Ashley from Mississippi was minding her own business and doing her job of delivering groceries when she was approached by another woman who has since been deemed a “Karen” by the internet. Of course, she had her phone at the ready and began to record the very offensive interaction, and while it was disturbing to see, some couldn’t help but laugh at the aggressive woman’s bizarre behavior.
The TikTok starts off with a bang as the Mississippi woman tells the Karen to leave her alone. “I will not leave you alone,” she replies, telling her that she can’t park her car in the spot where she’s unloading the groceries.
“I WAS DELIVERING GROCERIES AND SHE CAME UP YELLING ASKING IF I LIVE THERE. I IGNORE HER BC WHO TF IS SHE?! SHE COMES UP TALKING ABOUT “DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?! CAN YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING?!” I STARTED RECORDING SHORT AFTER,” Ashley explains in the caption.
Mississippi Karen Mocks Latina Woman In Bizarre Encounter
Ashley continues to ask to be left alone. Then the Karen turns it up a notch by mocking her Latina accent. The woman calls the aggressor a “racist” before the unhinged Karen begins to talk gibberish and push her hand out in front of her like she’s doing a spell.
“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Lord. Take this heifer and put her into the abyss,” she says, causing the Latina woman to laugh as she continues unloading the grocery bags. The Karen goes on to spew horrific and offensive words to the woman, including calling her fat, among other things.
“You look crazy. Leave me the [expletive] alone,” Ashley says as the Karen proceeds to follow her through the parking lot and up to the door where she’s delivering the groceries. “Crazy for God, who is my father. [expetive] you,” the unhinged woman replies.
The Mississippi worker captioned the original video. Later, she made a follow-up video, revealing, “I just want to turn the page. SO I bought a tas*er and🌶️ spray just in case. but as I said at the end: take care of yourselves, especially as things are now that these kind of people think they can do whatever they want,” Ashley wrote in the caption of the video.
TikTok had plenty to say about the bizarre encounter, and it wasn’t nice. “People lately are insane,” one person pointed out. “Not her putting a spell on you. This is actually scary,” another said. “Speaking in tongues always gets it for me!” a third comment read.
While Ashley kept her calm while dealing with the Mississippi Karen, it is scary to think that an innocent person can be verbally assaulted just for doing their job.
